The Charlotte Pipe PVC 00324 is specifically designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) applications and is not intended for pressure use.
It is used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and has a maximum working temperature of 140°F
Installation:
Preparation: Ensure you have all necessary tools and materials, including PVC primer and cement, a saw for cutting pipe, and safety equipment.
Cutting: Measure and cut the PVC pipe to the required length using a saw. Ensure the cuts are clean and square.
Cleaning: Clean the ends of the pipe and the inside of the fitting with a PVC cleaner to remove any dirt or debris.
Priming: Apply PVC primer to the outside of the pipe end and the inside of the fitting. Allow it to dry for a few seconds.
Cementing: Apply PVC cement to the primed areas. Quickly insert the pipe into the fitting and twist slightly to ensure an even distribution of cement.
Setting: Hold the pipe and fitting together for a few seconds to allow the cement to set. Wipe off any excess cement.
Inspection: Check the joint to ensure it is secure and properly aligned. Allow the cement to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions before using the system
