The SharkBite U340LFA Drop‑Ear Elbow is a 3/4‑inch push‑to‑connect × 3/4‑inch FIP brass 90‑degree elbow designed for secure wall‑mounted and fixture‑mounted plumbing transitions. The integrated “drop ears” provide mounting holes that allow the fitting to be fastened to a stud, blocking, or other framing material—making it ideal for shower arms, tub spouts, hose bibbs, and other fixed‑connection points.
Constructed from lead‑free DZR brass, the U340LFA delivers excellent corrosion resistance and long‑term reliability. The push‑to‑connect inlet works with copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE‑RT, allowing fast, tool‑free installation. Internal stainless‑steel teeth grip the pipe while the EPDM O‑ring forms a watertight seal. This fitting can be rotated after installation, installed on wet or dry lines, and is approved for underground and behind‑the‑wall use when properly installed.
